Hello my friend,
How’s your week going? I’m back east visiting family, which has felt so nourishing and grounding for me (not always the case when with family ;-)). My mornings lately have been spent doing between 30-60 minutes of kundalini breathwork and meditation “kriyas.” A kriya is a set of exercises grouped together to evoke a specific outcome in the body, such as reduce stress or increase energy.
Kundalini has been a part of my practice for a while now. To me it is the perfect combination of breathwork and movement. There’s a lot of things about traditional kundalini that I struggle with (like the guru worship and cult-like vibes that many studios adhere to), but it’s undeniable the effects it has on energy, mood, and how I feel in my body. It’s taken me a while to find teachers that make it more modern and accessible, which is why I’m so excited to officially announce that I will begin my 200-hour training in September! This work is powerful, and I can’t wait to keep learning and growing so I can share more of the breath with you.
Below is a quick combination of breathwork and kundalini exercises I put together to support you, wherever you are on your journey. Let me know what you think in the comments and if you’d like me to keep offering these monthly classes for you, my paid subscribers. Oh how grateful I am that you’re here.
xo,
