how to implement spirituality into your everyday life: a masterclass
a podcast-style masterclass to support everyday spirituality
All Parts is a newsletter for those who no longer want to force or fix their way through life. Our community space is called All Parts Home, where you have access to dozens of breathwork and movement practices, somatic explorations, educational workshops, and more to support self-compassion and curiosity. When you sign up for a membership, you automatically get a comped paid subscription to the All Parts newsletter.
Welcome back to the All Parts Collab Series!
Over the course of the next two months, I’ll be sharing 4 newsletters that I’ve written in collaboration with some of my favorite writers and fellow therapists. We explore topics ranging from motherhood, to the intersection of yogic philosophy and psychotherapy, to defining what spirituality means for you, and the difference between top-down and bottom-up approaches to therapy.
This week we have a dear friend of mine, from
Sam is a writer, counselor, meditation guide, and dog lover. She enjoys learning about physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual ways of being, living, and healing. This has led her on a path of helping others reconnect with themselves, their soul, and all of creation.
Fun story: Sam and I taught classes at the same fitness studio in Vancouver back in the day. Our friendship really blossomed after we took a 200-hour meditation teacher training together, and we’ve kept in touch ever since. My favorite thing about Sam is her rambling (in the best way!) voice notes of encouragement and endless enthusiasm for supporting others in reaching their goals.
In this 40-minute podcast style conversation, Sam teaches us how to connect with “life as ceremony” in a way that feels accessible, expansive, and joyful.
We dive into what “spirituality” is and isn’t, how and why it’s such a vital part of the healing path, and Sam guides us through a few prompts (below) to help us define spirituality and ceremony for our Selves.
This conversation is paywalled because it’s more of a masterclass than just your average podcast. Sam provides exercises and prompts that are meant to get you thinking and feeling into your own definition of spirituality.
We invite you to listen cuddled up with your favorite blanket, journal, and beverage of choice for this one.
Xx,
Sam & Eliza
