Welcome to Welcoming Fall, a 15 day practice to support a smooth(ish) transition into fall. Below is all the information and resources you need to get started before our first live class on Wednesday, September 18th from 9-9:30am EST.
About this transitional time
The Fall Equinox (September 22nd) and the subsequent days surrounding it symbolize balance, transition, shedding, letting go, and preparing for winter ahead. It marks a time when days and nights are equal, inviting reflection on balance in life and a shift from the yang, fiery energy of summer to the more yin, introspective season of winter.
It’s a time to honor the in-between liminal space between one thing and the next. It’s a time to get comfortable with the often uncomfortable feeling of getting still and quiet before the deep inner work begins.
By aligning yourself with the natural rhythms of nature and our seasons, you can support your entire system - mind, body, and soul - into a deeper connection.
Throughout the next 15 days, I’ll be encouraging you to slow down, feel, breathe deeply and intentionally, and move intuitively so that you can connect back to life’s natural rhythms for a deeper sense of presence and aliveness.
About the practice
If you’re new to the All Parts community, the 15 day practice is 15 consecutive days of live 30-minute kundalini breath and movement classes every morning at 9am EST. If you can’t make it to the live classes, no worries…I record them and upload them immediately to this page (scroll down to access the recordings).
We come together in community to practice what it feels like to be in our bodies, utilize breath to facilitate the movement of stuck energy, and connect back to our intuition. This practice is designed to stir the “internal pot” so that you can find a deeper connection to your aliveness. This might feel hard. It will certainly take intentional effort. My hope is that this practice helps meet your Self with compassion and curiosity, and commit to your Self even when things feel sticky or different.
What I will say is that, like anything but especially with kundalini, this work is cumulative. If you can’t get to the practice one day, don’t sweat it. However see if you can commit to trying to do the practice as many times as you can throughout the next 15 days (and beyond). I promise you’ll feel a shift the more often you do this work.
