Absolutely Amy. So glad this resonates. Just like any repressed or suppressed emotion, it can turn into somatic and physical symptoms in the body if/when we're not careful. The body sure does keeps the score

I remember reading once that “no one warns you about the amount of mourning in growth.” The polarity of stepping more fully into your authentic Self and the inevitable grief that comes along with it can often feel like some karmic joke that only you are destined to experience.”

Resonating with so much of this Eliza. The shadow work raises some uncomfortable truths and the body tells us many inconvenient truths. It's courageous work to keep following those intuitions.

Inconvenient truths is just such a perfect statement for it sometimes, isn’t it?! I remember in my first read through of Women Who Run With Wolves how Clarissa Pinkola Estes emphasized how following your intuition isn’t the easy fairy tale rainbow unicorn myth we like to think it is. I always keep this in mind when these inconvenient & uncomfortable truths arise.

Congrats to you! Being able to heed the call is a gift! Vermont and New Hampshire sound absolutely lovely. I’m so over Texas, but I’ll most likely be here for four more years til my last child finishes high school.
